A drabble in verse
Life
has poked me
a few times made me
listen when I was too involved
brought me to
an understanding that it is
a thing to treasure
to take the blows and
mould them into
something workable to be
a voice to show others that
Life
is worth living.
You
came to me
entered my Life when I
least expected
took my hand and led me
through the cold into the fire of
your heart
stretched out your arms to embrace
my world with yours
to know
the inside of a soul is
to know truth.
We
Are
